KINTSUGI & CONCRETE CANDLE
This soy wax candle is cast in a reconstituted concrete container, restored according to the art of Kintsugi with gold lines in pigmented acrylic.
With a capacity of 8 oz (3.2 x 3.2 in), it diffuses a subtle scent of eucalyptus and lavender , thanks to natural essential oils.
Each piece is unique, highlighting the beauty of imperfection and the renewal of objects through Kintsugi.

Kintsugi
Kintsugi is an ancient Japanese art of repairing broken ceramics with lacquer dusted with gold powder. Rather than hiding cracks, this technique enhances them, transforming each fracture into a unique piece of the object's history.
This philosophy echoes a profound truth of Christianity: restoration and grace. Just as Kintsugi reveals beauty through scars, God transforms our wounds and trials into something precious. What seemed broken becomes a testament to redemption and love, reminding us that true value lies not in perfection, but in restoration.
