META

Acrylic and dry pastel on archival quality cotton canvas. 36"x48" (91 x 122cm). Original work . Signed and dated on the reverse. Wooden frame included.

The etymology of the word "Meta" means "beyond" or "after", and translates this idea of passage, of transformation. My paintings are built around a fluid, almost organic movement, where the lines swirl and intertwine like an energy in full mutation. The subtle tones of beige, green and white, punctuated with black, suggest both softness and tension, as if the work oscillated between appeasement and vital momentum. This moment between two states: what we leave behind and what we move towards. The forms seem to seek to free themselves, to cross an invisible border, embodying this desire for surpassing and evolution. It is an intermediate space, a threshold, where the soul is transformed, where the visible becomes an echo of something deeper, more essential.

Behind the work

My work explores the intangible dimensions of life through abstract compositions inspired by nature, humans and my vision of the spiritual world. Each work is a quest for balance between light and darkness, movement and silence, matter and ether.
Shapes, textures and nuances coexist in a harmony that is sometimes minimalist, sometimes abundant, creating a spontaneous dialogue where every detail, even imperfect, participates in the story that unfolds. Like the cycles of nature – the wind sculpting the stone, the water shaping the earth, the light dancing on the shadows – my creations translate invisible rhythms into tangible images.
Through instinctive gestures and sincere exploration, I seek to completely erase myself and thus capture the essence of what cannot be seen, but only felt. A space where the soul breathes, where the mind stops and contemplates.
